Arts-n-STEM4Hearts is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization promoting healing through the arts and empowering under resourced individuals to grow in their knowledge of Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Our Website: https://www.arts-n-stem4hearts.org
What We Do
• Provide art kits to children admitted in hospitals and elders in nursing homes thus promoting healing through art therapy
• Inspire sick children and elders in our community to share their artwork on the foundation’s website to encourage others
• Hold arts workshops and brain-engaging technology sessions at nursing homes and senior centers, thus bridging the gap between generations and encourage learning through mentoring
• Promote STEM learning by delivering age-appropriate hands-on STEM project materials to under resourced community
• Creating awareness of STEM in our community by publishing STEM resources on the foundation’s website
As the COVID-19 epidemic continues, we STAND STRONG with our volunteers ready to help!
The Arts-n-STEM4Hearts Foundation is requesting funds to make a positive impact by:
· Developing arts-n-crafts, painting canvasses, calligraphy with encouraging notes for children in long-term medical care, elders in nursing homes and those in isolation
· Submit ideas of DIY safe, creative hands-on STEM projects for different age groups
· Virtual tutoring/mentoring or assisting parents with the implementation of remote learning and/or reviewing completed work
· Packaging and delivering essential supplies to the elderly or home-bound or to students who rely on meals from their schools
· Help raise funds to support COVID-19 efforts and county residents impacted (providing masks and disinfecting supplies).
· Bring awareness for emergency services (ex. American Red Cross Blood Drive)
Please feel free to also send us an email (see our website below) to share how you will make an impact and we will coordinate the rest with you. Any drop offs can be done on Montgomery County property and we will send you a tax-exempt receipt email for all proceeds received.
