Arty's Emergency Gallbladder Removal Surgery

Hi friends, our bestest boy ever has been in the hospital these last few days as doctors run tests to attempt to determine if his life can be saved. At only 5 years old and super healthy just a few days ago, this has taken us all off guard. We have a pet insurance policy on Arty for circumstances like this, but it appears it has a maximum coverage of $7500.

Arty's emergency surgery and the tests that have gotten us to this point have rapidly escalated to a minimum of $15,000, with the potential to eclipse $20,000 depending on how the rest of the day goes here. There are still no guarantees, but there is hope and that's more than we had just 24 hours ago.

We would do anything for our lovely boy and are obviously prepared to do whatever it takes to cover these costs out of pocket, which currently involves a bank loan via a line of credit. Our hope is that you might be able to support for just a few dollars, and that with a lot of little support, we can put a dent in our financial burden without putting anyone out. My/our promise to you in return is to 100% reciprocate this if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. I am embarrassed to ask for help here, but we just were not prepared for an outcome like this. We will learn from this experience and ensure we are better prepared in the future with a more solid insurance policy.
