Aruna and her family in their time of need

Please help Aruna and her family get through this very challenging time

 

On Sunday 22nd October, Aruna met with an unfortunate accident leaving her with multiple fractures in her knee. Aruna has endured multiple surgeries since then but she faces a long road to recovery. Aruna is unable to walk at this time and will need in-home care until her leg heals.

 

This incident has turned this beautiful family’s life upside down.

 

Aruna’s husband Prabhakar is doing his best to juggle his time between his job, parenting their two young children and caring for Aruna. Their friends and the community is pitching in to help care for the children and spend time with Aruna in hospital.

Doctors have advised that Aruna needs 6 months to recover which means she will be unable to work for the next 6 month. She also faces a long journey towards recovery including physiotherapy costs and in-home nursing care for which the family require financial assistance.
