Wanda’s Road to Recovery

Hello Everyone! My name is Vanessa. In January of 2021 my Aunt Wanda was given the news that no woman or person would ever want to hear…one that forever changes your life…“You have breast cancer.”

I have created this gofundme account in an effort to help relieve financial burdens during what has been a difficult and trying time for my aunt. 

Since receiving this life changing news, Wanda has embarked on a journey full of many doctor visits, intense chemo, and surgeries which all add up pretty quickly. 

As you can imagine this news does not come without additional financial burdens.

As Wanda waits for her insurance to renew, she is faced with out of pocket costs for procedures along with many additional costs associated with filling prescriptions and covering all medical visit copays. I am asking for your help so that she doesn’t have to worry about these financial challenges but can focus strictly on getting better on her road to recovery. 

My aunt Wanda is one of the strongest, most caring, and loving people I know. For those of you that know her, you know that getting her approval for this gofundme did not come easy. I explained to her how many people love her and want to help and that she should not feel like a burden.
