Hi friends. Our beautiful red head baby girl was attacked by our foster that ripped off her nose/part of her face, and some of her upper teeth. We were airlifted by mercy to loma Linda. Aryah three hours later underwent facial reconstruction and today she is doing fairly well physically but has painful plating in her soft pallet. However her mental state is not in tact and my husband and I have struggled a lot with ours as well. We are currently responsible for every single fee owed to the hospitals, attorneys, gas for appointments, therapy costs and so much more. We would also love to set aside money as well in case she wishes to remove the scars in the future. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported us and continues to support us through how awful this is been for our family. There was rumors circling around the internet throughout the United States from hanks legacy foundation who we surrendered the other dogs too and so many people who came to attack us because they did not agree with how we handled the situation and the things that as a mother I said during that time nor do they agree that I should have hurt the animal that attacked my daughter but I would like to say the rumors are not true and I did what I had to do to save Aryahs life.
We simply want to able to take care of our daughter and not worry about anything else. Our perspective and love of animals has not changed. My daughter loves dogs still. Nothing can change what happened but I know God has a plan that we cannot see❤️ Thank you and God Bless
