Hi everyone,
My name is Arya, and I am an Indian living in America. As I watch the news everyday, headlines about India suffering from COVID-19 are all I can see. India has been hit with a devastating surge in COVID-19 cases, leading to lots of suffering and misery throughout the country. The people of India are in a dire need of help, and I want to be able to contribute as much as I can. That is why I am starting a fundraiser to raise money to help Sewa International purchase oxygen concentrators. As a global community we should all help India get through this crisis.
Sewa International estimates oxygen concentrators costing $501 and ventilators costing $25,000. They have a goal of reaching $5,000,000 in donations by the end of May, and they are currently at $1,800,000. They have already sent in a shipment to India with oxygen concentrators and $1,500,000 worth of equipment, but more is definitely needed. If we can help them reach their goal, it will make such a big impact in many people's lives.
I hope those reading this can be so generous as to donate a bit to this cause. All of the donations to this fundraiser will go to Sewa International. Any amount of donation can make an impact, no matter how big or small. India really needs our help right now, so I hope we can all contribute at least a little to help those in need.
