Oh, you who have a merciful heart and a kind heart, please read my story and do not leave my family alone in the midst of genocide. I am writing to you the story of my family and my tears are falling.

Hello, my name is Luis Garcia, I am from the U.S. and I am organizing this fundraiser for my friend, Yousef Qasem. Yousef and his family of 8 are trapped in Gaza right now and currently need funds to evacuate his young brother, Muhammad, so he can receive treatment for his illness.

I am Yousef Adnan Fawzan Qasim, 27 years old, a lawyer and a master's student in commercial law. This is my full name, Palestinian nationality. I live in Gaza in the midst of genocide. I will attach my ID card below. I created this campaign on behalf of my younger brother who suffers from an illness and my family of 8to complete my brother's treatment and evacuate my family from Gaza.

My little brother Mohammed, 6 years old, suffers from epilepsy, which causes him severe convulsions and disturbances in his body due to the conditions he lives in in Gaza, from fear and terror, and the main reason is that his medication is not available except at exorbitant prices, reaching $100 for a package that is not enough for ten days, and even food suitable for his condition and drinking water. Of course, due to these conditions, his treatment journey, which lasted three years, cannot be completed, so this campaign had to be created. The main goal of this campaign is to provide medication and evacuate Mohammed and my family from Gaza to complete his treatment journey and conduct the medical tests he needs, because Gaza hospitals are currently unable to deal with his condition in light of the genocide and these dangerous conditions. I hope you can help us so that Mohammed does not lose his life, as he is the one who brings joy and happiness to our hearts. I will attach the medical report of the treatment and a picture of the treatment.

Diseases have spread in Gaza and all my family members have been infected with a very dangerous bacterial skin disease. My beloved sister with the wonderful smile, her name is Ghina, has been infected with a skin disease that has spread all over her body, her face, her stomach, her hands and sensitive areas. This is due to water pollution in Gaza in addition to air pollution due to the lack of detergents and their high prices, which we cannot provide at these high prices, and the leakage of sewage into the drinking water. Help us treat our beloved Ghina, she loves you all. Help her.

As everyone knows, on October 7, Israel launched a brutal attack on Gaza and my family was a victim of this brutal attack. I was born into a family that was always full of love, tenderness, peace, calm and dreams. We lived in a warm and happy home. There was peace in Gaza before the genocide began. My family loved each other, went out together and loved life. We lived a happy life and stayed up all night together. But all of this morning is in the past. Our home and our beautiful memories were destroyed. We have nothing left in this life. There is no happiness anymore. Everything has become sad because of the destruction and genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza. The warmth, calm and happy life are gone. We lost our relatives, friends and our home.

Before the war I was a lawyer, life was full of hope and happiness. I dreamed of building a house, getting married and starting a family. All that is gone. Nothing is left: peace, work, happiness and dreams in the midst of this destruction.

My father was injured in this cursed war that caused him misery. The injury was in his foot, making him unable to do the simplest things and meet the needs of my family. I am writing to you my story from the tent where my family and I live after Israel destroyed our beautiful home and we no longer have a home to live in. We live in the street in my family and relatives’ tent, which is not suitable for living and does not have any means of comfort in the extreme heat in the summer and the bitter cold in the winter.

Now my only dream and hope is to get out of Gaza with my family of eight: my father, my mother, me, Yousef the eldest, and my brothers Saeb, Fadi, Salah and My sister Ghina and Mohammed. The situation in Gaza has become very bad and unbearable. Diseases have spread in Gaza and my family members have suffered from skin and intestinal diseases because of the undrinkable water. There is no treatment in hospitals, no healthy food, no basics of life. The situation has become worse. There is no safe place in Gaza. We have been displaced several times and have not found a safe place yet.

Please help us escape from Gaza and save our lives to Egypt, as traveling to Egypt requires Egyptian coordination, which costs each adult 7,000 and a minor child 500. We are 8 people who need to escape death, as coordination for all my family members costs 47,000 dollars. In addition, there are expenses at the crossing, transportation, rent, treatment for my brother Mohammed, clothes, and all the tools we need because we fled our home at night and did not take anything with us. Please do not let me lose any of my family members, I love them all. Please help us get out to a safe place in peace and security. We live in a very difficult situation in Gaza. We use fire to cook food and go to far places to provide water. We see the bombing every day with our own eyes and wake up terrified by the sounds of the bombing and the crying of children.
