A's Path to Recovery from Brain Issue

Hi everyone,

My name is Averee Bottcher or you can call me A, and at just 27 years old, I’ve been hit with a life-changing diagnosis of Cerebral Cavernoma, which is a cluster of abnormally enlarged blood vessels growing on the frontal lobe of my brain. This condition has already been causing symptoms like focal seizures, headaches, dizziness, and vision problems, along with a plethora of other symptoms. While we don’t have all the answers yet, we’re hoping to learn more through upcoming doctor appointments and scans.

This journey has been overwhelming and uncertain, but what we do know is that medical bills are already piling up. Between specialist visits, imaging tests, and potential treatments—including the high possibility of brain surgery—it’s becoming increasingly difficult to manage everything on my own, especially as my symptoms have impacted my work and day-to-day life.
