Support for the Jardine Family

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to ask for support for my dear friend Mary and her family during this incredibly challenging time. On December 29th Mary’s husband, Glen Jardine, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. His loss leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.

In addition to being a devoted Husband and Father; Glen was such a light to those around him. Glen spent many years of his life giving back to the community in a variety of ways from his days bartending at the Packing House to his years working for the Caledonian Record. His unmatched quick wit and infectious humor will continue to resonate within us all.

As Mary navigates the immense grief of losing her partner and the kids with the loss of their father, we hope to provide them with support in this time of need. Mary has always been a pillar of strength for others and would do anything for anyone. She selflessly goes above and beyond in everything she does and is one of the most incredible teachers, friends, and mothers I have ever known.

Your generous donations will help alleviate some of the financial burden Mary and her children face as they navigate this difficult period filled with many unknowns. One thing that should not be unknown to them is the abundance of love and support as we come together as a community to support them. Offering them the space to focus on healing and finding their way forward, let’s honor Glen’s memory and show this wonderful family support during this time of need.

For those who are not in a place where they can contribute financially, condolences and cards are just as important and needed. Letters, cards or other forms of condolences can be sent to Miller’s Run School.
