Help a Single Father and His Children Rebuild After Tragedy.

I am a very good friend of this amazingly spirited man and his children. In his younger days he was a firefighter and EMS assistant and he worked for the city for 13 years. He has worked hard all of his life even while battling hyperthyroidism. His wife of 20 years and the kids mom had a heart attack at the age of 30. She was disabled therefore no SSI survivors benefits are available according to SSI. This left him to rely on his job at Wal-Mart Auto Center. Due to a point system Wal-Mart let him go after looking into getting him help. They reviewed his points he was let go. This led to eventually being evicted. They began living in a borrowed car and he finally got a new job and found a hotel to stay in 330 a week. His first 3 days he was at the hotel it was repossessed with all his belongings, along with the ashes of his late wife and kids mom. He had a week paid at a hotel, and the church paid for a few extra days. Come next Saturday theyll be on the streets. They need shelter and a vehicle. I am trying to raise enough for something more permanent, like an RV of some sort. The RV rent for a month to get them started, a legal cash car so he can hopefully still have the job he finally found or a new job and the kids can get to school in a permanent area. If I had the means, I'd definitely give but I am disabled and fighting for disability myself. Thank you. Godspeed
