The Dirty Dozen
Tax deductible
Inspired by local Saratogians Colleen and Keelin Hollowood (sisters who recently completed this challenge themselves), fellow Fingerpainters Brittney Holcomb and Corinne Ellis will be hopping on the Dirty Dozen bandwagon. On Saturday, May 16, Brittney and Corinne will run 12 miles, eat 12 donuts, and drink 12 beers in celebration of New York State’s “soft” reopening. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be dough-nated (pun intended) to The Food Pantries for The Capital District.
The Food Pantries for The Capital District has been around since 1979, providing more than 60 food pantries in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties with enough groceries for 3.3 million meals annually. Just $1 can provide 6.25 pounds of food to a neighbor in need!
