ASE Tree House Capstone Project 2023
Donation protected
Hello! I, Shalimar Bachachi and SaraCate Cromack are excited to share an amazing opportunity we have as seniors of Stratford High School and members of The Academy of Science and Engineering. "ASE" is a research and project-based course that includes topics like engineering, forensics, alternative energy, medicine, programming, 3D printing and much more. The program's curriculum is highly driven by student interests, in fact, the entirety of the second year is a year-long capstone project built around student interests. The capstone project is a self-directed passion project in a group atmosphere. For our 2023 Capstone project, we will build an “Off-Grid Tree House.” Essentially, the tree house will implement solar technology and alternative energy to achieve a self-functioning and livable space. In addition, the strategic construction of our tree house will be completely nature friendly, preventing any damage to our beautiful tree.
In efforts to raise funds for the construction of our project, we would highly appreciate your consideration to donate. We are very thankful to be given this opportunity and we are confident that your support will make a difference in our education and our future as women in S.T.E.M.
