Ashanti For Morgan State

Ashanti has been accepted to Morgan State University majoring in Bachelor’s degree and Masters in Architectural and Environmental Design. 

Through this pandemic which has been hard on all of us, I’m beyond proud Ashanti was able to maintain and keep her grades up! I couldn’t be more proud of her. 

But, NOW, reality has set in. It’s time for her to go to college and we didn’t reach out goal. We’ve applied for for scholarships for over a year but didn’t get enough to cover the balance

I’ll admit I was not open to starting a crowd finding page, I felt it was just uncouth and I need to find any other way besides asking strangers for help. After several conversations and much debate, I decided I can’t say I would do anything and NOT give this a try. 

My request and need is simple, I’m asking for help to cover my daughter’s first 2 years of college education. Hoping this will give us more time to come up with a plan to pay for her last 3 years at Morgan State University.
