Ashira is known among her Denver community as one of the most kindest, courageous person’s you will ever meet. Once you meet her, you will never forget her blow horn in hand, Black Lives Matter t-shirt, captivating smile, and contagious upbeat personality.
Her passion for helping people in need is demonstrated through using her voice for change through social justice activism and donating her time to feeding and clothing Denver’s unhoused community.
May 28, 2021 Ashira graduates from high school and has been accepted to Union College in Lincoln, NE to study nursing to continue serving her community’s diverse social and health care needs.
Tuition is $137,080 for four years. Ashira has been award an astounding $99,840 in scholarships. After all scholarships she still has a remaining balance. She has diligently applied for several scholarships but still has an outstanding balance of $37,240.
A Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing will provide Ashira a rigorous higher education to reach her goals to become a Registered Nurse and meet the demands of the medical needs within diverse, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and unhoused communities.
Every penny donated will go towards Ashira’s tuition and college expenses.
