Shake It Off For Luke Laurenson

Hi, I am Luke's mom Jane, and we are raising money to get Luke a handicapped-accessible travel van to help transport him around the Rogue Valley and beyond. Due to Luke's growing size and my shrinking size (:(), we are no longer able to do much without the help of additional caregivers around town or for any travel, as his portable electric wheelchair weighs 42 pounds. (It's also challenging to find caregivers that will travel with us for his medical trips etc.) Luke's future dreams include speaking at high schools across the country about resiliency and overcoming challenges. Additionally, Luke, Julia and I are in the process of starting a non-profit called Luke's Foundation For Love to raise money for disabled children and their families. This van will allow Luke to pursue career opportunities in modeling, acting, and public speaking. This van would also greatly support him in pursuing a more independent life.
