Fatal Car Accident Ashlee Rhodes and Easton Nunes

On Monday, September 26th, 2022, Ashlee Rhodes and her 4-year-old son, Easton, were involved in a tragic car accident involving an impact with a train in Lincoln, CA. Ashlee, sadly, did not survive. Easton was rushed to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and is currently being treated for two broken femurs, lung contusions, and a partially collapsed lung, the most serious. The father and Husband, Travis Nunes, has been at Easton’s bedside. Other family members have also joined him, taking turns. Our family has banded together to help one another through these extremely difficult times, and the outpouring of support has been uplifting and appreciated. As you might imagine, the families have been on a roller coast ride of emotions to make sense of this horrific and tragic loss.

Ashlee’s passing has left a significant hole in so many of us that words cannot explain, but she left us with many memories. She was an exemplary mother and wife, first and foremost, raising her two beautiful children, Bradlee (Mimi) and Easton (Bubba), along with her husband, Travis. She lived her life in a way that made her parents and family proud. She was the kind of person that glowed when she walked into a room: Her smile, attitude and beauty were infectious, only to be outdone by her kindness. Ashlee was so extraordinary that apart from being a full-time mom, she also ran and operated her own hair salon business out of her home.
