Please help Ashlee's road to recovery.
Saturday 8th July 2017 my sister Ashlee fell 3 stories and was left with extensive back injuries, spinal cord damage (T5), broken ribs and punctured lung.
Ashlee had a marathon 8 hour surgery to to piece back together the multiple breaks and fractures. After a short stay in ICU and Austin Spinal Unit, Ashlee is now facing the long road that is recovery and trying to find acceptance that the remainder of her life will be lead as a paraplegic.
Ashlee is 26 years old and has her whole adult life ahead of her.
I want nothing more than for her to feel loved and supported through this process and become mentally and physically strong.
Doctors have said that Ashlee will be unable to work for a minimum of 2 years and finacial assistance from the govenment isnt guaranteed so we are hoping to raise some funds that will help with:
Rehabilitation
Living costs
Adaptive Equipment
Transport costs
Natural therapies to help with neuropathic pain
Ongoing costs for medical supplies, needed for daily hygiene an care.
