Help Ashley Adopt Makayla

Hey everyone as many of you know it has been mine & Makayla's dream for along time for me to be able to adopt her! Now that she's 14, I feel she knows her feelings well and what she wants and has recently brought up adoption. As many of you know she has been a constant in my life since she was 2 years old. And GOD truly blessed me with her. She is everything to me. I couldn't get through life without her. There are no words to explain how much she means to me. The love and bond we share is incredible. Since day one she has been my daughter! She is my life, my heart and soul. And I know without a doubt she feels the same about me. She has voiced her feelings and also said she couldn't live without me being her mom and as bad as I have always wanted on paper that she will always be mine, I think at this time its more for her security, and peace of mind. But no matter what she will always be my daughter until the day I die and I will always fight for what's best for her!

With all this being said I would like to ask for prayers that god places his hands over this situation and his will, will be done!

We have spoken with a lawyer and the cost of step parent adoption is $2000. plus there may be additional fees.

I'm not the one to ask for money because I know the cost of living is enough for a lot of us to take care without extra expenses, but I will try anything for my children. So if you can find it in your heart and budget to help us make this happen for my baby I will FOREVER be grateful!! Thank you for reading!
