Ashley Ampersee

On Monday, September 20, 2021 Ashley's boys were involved in a fatal car accident with their father. Tragically Sylas, Ashley's 13 year old son and his father were both killed in the accident and Elliot, her 8 year old son was critically injured.

Ashley is now on a journey with Elliot ,who is fighting for his life while grieving the loss of Sylas. Elliot was flown by care flight from the hospital in St. Joseph, MI to Kalamazoo after surgery on Monday night. He then had surgery while at Bronson in Kalamazoo in the early morning hours on Tuesday. On Wednesday he is being transferred to Ann Arbor to undergo surgery there as well.

As you can imagine Ashley will have many needs as she walks this journey with Elliot.

At this point, we are not certain of all the needs Ashley will have as she navigates the road ahead but we do know she needs support. This account is intended to help Ashley financially but it is also a tangible way for her to see the love and support of her community during a time when it would be easy to feel lost, afraid and alone. We ask for your help in loving Ashley, Elliot and their family in a generous way.
