Ashley Chatman-Banks Family

Ashley is a loving and caring daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend to many who graduated high school on June 10th as a member of the class of 2022. Throughout her high school years Ashley was a dedicated and hardworking student who had also been employed in a part time job since sophomore year at Safeway and then Target. Shortly after graduating, she was admitted to the hospital after experiencing excruciating pain for months. A little while after being admitted, she underwent surgery to remove a mass that the doctors discovered had been growing on her spine. After running tests and biopsy’s, the doctors discovered that Ashley has cancer—stage 3 lymphoma. Ever since finding out this news she has been undergoing chemotherapy to kill the cancer and physical therapy due to her back surgery.

On September 14th, Ashley unfortunately also got into a car accident. Three cars were totaled. Thankfully she and everyone else involved did not undergo any severe injuries but the crash is a large inconvenience, shocker, and cost on top of the cancer.

Please donate to this go fund me to support Ashley and her family during this time. The money raised will go towards transportation costs for Ashley’s commute back and forth to the hospital for her chemo treatments, large hospital fees, and the fees that have come up due to the car crash. The money will also supplement for time that Ashley’s mother Tonya will have to take off of work. Tonya works in healthcare herself, helping people daily. It’s now time for us to take care of her and show her love as she shows to her patients.
