Ashley Cochran’s Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Ashley. I am hosting this fundraiser in hopes to help my sister-in-law Ashley Cochran and nephew Coy Lee in the days to come.

Ashley is a beautiful 31 year-old who was on the cusp of welcoming a new addition, baby boy Coy Lee, to the family with her boyfriend, Teddy, when tragedy struck. Around 35 weeks pregnant when her father suddenly passed away from complications from metastatic esophageal cancer, she began experiencing trouble breathing due to what she thought were panic attacks, but it turns out, she was in pregnancy-induced heart failure. Her labor was induced on Thursday, 3/14/2024 but she eventually underwent an emergency C section on Friday night, 3/15/2024. The C section went well and her beautiful son Coy Lee was brought into the world, but suddenly she went into cardiac arrest. She required upwards of 90 minutes of CPR. She also had to have 2 heart assist machines placed (called an ECMO and an Impella) emergently as well as a breathing tube. She was stabilized but in very, very critical condition. Unfortunately, within a couple days of the ECMO being placed, it caused complications which required her left foot and lower leg to be amputated. She remains in the ICU fighting for her life, but everyday, she defies the odds and gets better and better. She is fighting so hard to come back to Teddy and Coy. She has a long, long journey ahead of her and is going to need all the support she can get, including financial.

The funds donated will help with lost wages, medical expenses for Ashley and Coy, therapy Ashley will need after she is released, accommodations that will need to be made because of amputation, travel expenses to and from hospital/therapy, food expenses and any other expenses that will arise.
