Help bring Addy home

This is Ashley with her 7-year-old daughter Addie. Addie’s father’s parents have continuously tried to get custody of Addie, and have even gone as far as to make false claims to DCF about Ashley’s competence as a mother and the safety of Addie in her household.

On March 8th, a court-appointed guardian ad litem who had communicated with Addie’s father’s parents ordered that Addie be removed from her home due to concerns about her “immediate safety”. Multiple people have provided character witnesses and factual evidence as to why Addie is safest with Ashley and that Ashley is a dedicated and loving mother.

Ashley is a survivor, and a hard-working, resilient, and loving mother who raised her daughter alone. Ashley works day and night to prevent human trafficking and support victims with her non-profit, We Are One Inc.

Ashley misses her daughter and needs a lawyer to fight for her back. Thankfully, a good and professional lawyer is going to represent her, but there is a cost. Right now, we are working to raise $5,000 for a retainer for a hearing.
