Ashley Huri ... & the Huri and Schroll family

Ashley Huri is 22 years old and lives in Manchester, CT. From the age of 16 years old, Ashley has been dealing with a terrible disorder that causes dangerous, life-threatening blood clots. In 2016, she fought hard and survived what was the first of a series of life-threatening situations. In 2019, she survived another long, hard battle for her life. In 2021, Ashley was expecting the arrival of little "Logan" but, sadly, lost her baby boy due to Preclampsia...a blood clot to his umbilical cord. Still, Ashley fought hard...and pulled through.

Fast forward to 2022: Ashley married the love of her life, Pat, in May. Ashley and Pat were thrilled to begin their life together, with Jenna right there by their side- and looking forward to the arrival of a little brother for Jenna.

This Sunday, Ashley went into labor. After 48 hours of being in labor, bedridden, and not receiving the blood-thinning medication that has kept her clotting disorder at bay, Ashley was rushed in for an emergency C-Section. Beautiful baby "Oakley" was born! While the baby appeared to be perfectly healthy, Ashley's health quickly deteriorated, and she was intubated and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Boston for more intensive care! Ashley has numerous blood clots in her lungs! She is currently fighting for her life while on life-support (ECMO)! She is fighting so hard... she is a true warrior! Her mom (Dena), dad (Jim), and husband Pat need your help and support while they navigate this horrible situation with Ashley. Please donate any amount you can to help with the unexpected expenses Ashley's family members are facing, so they can focus on Ashley and remain by her side in Boston. Once again, Ashley is fighting for her life! She will undergo another surgery tomorrow (In addition to the Cesarean section. Her family needs to stay with her to support her through this battle she is facing. They surely need all the help we can give them to help cover the costs of meals, lodging, travel (gas), lost income due to missing time at work, and any other related expenses that may come up along the way!
