Ashley, Josh and Riley Millican house fire

Hi, my name is Kristi Wheat and I am starting this fundraiser for the 2 most hardworking people I know! Yesterday May 14,2022 my sister Ashley Millican, brother in law Josh Millican and nephew Riley Millicans’ whole worlds came crashing down around 4:45 pm with calls and text of their house being engulfed in flames. It was the most helpless feeling since we were all at meadow lakes golfing and knowing that their beloved golden retrievers (Axel and Ace) and their cat Lucky were inside. They flew out knowing it is a good 30 minute drive from Cedartown to Armuchee. I can’t even fathom how they are/were feeling and really don’t even know if reality has even set in. They are the type that would never in a million years ask for anything because they have always worked for everything they have and it was all lost within minutes! Houses can be rebuilt and material things can be replaced. Her dogs Axel and Ace did not survive and that’s one thing that is hurting them the most! They have no idea I’m making this and I debated on even doing it because they are the ones who are usually doing the giving and helping others but in a time like this I figured they deserve to have some love and support because yes insurance will pay but we all know how insurance companies are and how it could take awhile before they see anything from them! If you feel it in your heart to help or even just pray for them I know they would surely appreciate it! Just goes to show your life can literally change within in minutes!
