Ashley Nordin

On May 3rd Ashley was admitted to MGH with pneumonia of unknown origin. She was later transported to North Memorial ICU with respiratory failure and had to place a breathing tube to help her with her breathing.  She continued to decompensate until she needed to be placed on a machine that oxygenates her blood for her called ECMO. She was transferred to Abbott NW. In route she had some significant bleeding from her ECMO site which has now been repaired.  Despite everything going on Ashley is still fighting.  Mike has been out of work to care for her and Ashley will be out of work for months to come.  She is going to have significant rehab needs once she comes out this.  Please continue to pray and support the family in this time of need. 

Ashley has been a paramedic with North Memorial ground ambulance and Centracare ambulance. A flight paramedic with North Memorial, RN with North Memorial,  and Emergency Management at Maple Grove North Memorial.
