Ashley Smith for Springfield Prom Queen!

Ashley Smith is a volunteer for CASA of Southwest Missouri and she's running to be Queen of Love Financial's Springfield Prom! If Ashley raises the most money, she'll be crowned Queen on April 6th, so make sure you get your donation in before then! Ashley is an Authenticity & Passion coach who works with young women to help them activate their authentic soul through their true wants, needs, and passions. She does this work through her coaching business, Forming Her. Ashley has been a CASA volunteer for the last three years and absolutely loves working with children. She wants to always be a positive light for each child through their darkest moments and let them know that there is always some one in their corner!

All money raised during this campaign will go to a very special cause. As a partner with other agencies, CASA advocates for the highest quality of care for abused and neglected children, providing them a chance for a happy childhood and an opportunity to thrive in adulthood. Funds raised from this event will support the recruitment, training and continued support for CASA volunteers in order to serve the 74 children currently waiting for that special advocate.  Studies have proven that having a caring, consistent adult in a child's life can help them overcome the effects of childhood trauma. When a CASA volunteer is assigned to a case, they are often the only consistent adult in that child's life throughout their time in foster care.  The purpose of our CASA volunteers is to provide a consistent voice in the courtroom for every abused and neglected child in Greene and Christian Counties who needs one.

CASA's mission is to recruit, train and support community volunteers who assist the court in protecting the best interests of abused and neglected children in Southwest Missouri.  Ashley is working on her third case and goes above and beyond in support of CASA as an organization.
