Ashley Stetson: The Journey Continues

In late 1999, I joined a small investment club in the Seattle area, made up of friends from work. We met at the home of one of the members, Luanne Stetson (Luanne was also our Trainer at Alaska Airlines International Desk, at the time). That was when I first met the rest of the Stetson family; Russ, Veronica, Ashley and Holly. It was a fun household to have our meetings. I remember Ashley and Veronica being these fun and energetic kids, running around the house with Holly. Ashley always having something funny to say.

 

Here we are, 20+ years later. Life has taken us all to various distances from where we were back then. Even though we may not see each other that often, care and friendship keep us close at heart, a good feeling, especially when life events happen.

 

Now an adult, Ashley is getting ready for her next journey in life, which will take her to Southern California in mid-July, for a month-long stay in Thousand Oaks. This is where the continuing path to recovery from stage 3 breast cancer will take place.

 

Ashley's longtime friend, Kadee Coatney, set up a GoFundMe to help cover Ashley's medical expenses.

 

This second GoFundMe aims to relieve the financial stress of accommodations and meals while Ashley has procedures done in So Cal, with Luanne by her side, so that the focus can be on recovery.
