Ashley & Tilly's Urgent Veterinary Fund

My name is Maria Edwards, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my best friend, Ashley Argila. To know Ashley is to know her unwavering love and dedication to animals. For over a decade, she has been a fierce advocate for rescue animals, helping find foster and forever homes for cats and dogs both locally in NY and abroad. She has personally changed the lives of countless animals—including four beloved furbabies between my family and me—giving them the second chances they deserve.

Beyond her rescue work, Ashley has been a tireless champion for ethical pet ownership and care, advocating against breeding mills and sharing her deep knowledge of dog wellness. Most recently, she answered a new calling—creating a safe, enriching space for dogs in Long Island City by opening her own doggy daycare. She saw a need for better care in her community, and she stepped up to make a difference.

Now, a beloved dog in Ashley and Tim's care, Tilly, needs our help. She recently suffered a freak accident that resulted in a fractured jaw—an unexpected and heartbreaking injury requiring urgent veterinary care, including surgery. As someone who has dedicated her life to helping animals, Ashley is doing everything possible, but the sudden medical expenses are overwhelming.
