Ashley's Hit-And-Run Accident

Donation protected
Ashley was driving home in the wee hours of January 15th when she became the victim of a hit-and-run.  Several vehicles believed to be drag racing struck the 33-year-old divorced, single mother of two and forced her vehicle into a concrete barrier.

Ashley works as a Procedure Technician in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital where she helps treat desperately ill patients due to an accident or illness.  Ironically, she is being treated in the same critical care unit she works.

Her injuries include multiple head fractures, a pelvic fracture, a broken arm, as well as a broken upper and lower jaw.  She underwent surgery this morning to repair her broken jaws and will soon leave the hospital with her jaws wired shut.  She will need extensive oral surgeries and faces a 4-6 month recovery where she must learn to walk again.

Funds are needed to care for her two children and cover the bills of both Ashley and her mother.  Her mother, Sandra, flew into town to help care for Ashley.  While the Family and Medical Leave Act protects Sandra’s job, she must forgo her salary each day she is away helping her daughter heal.  Funds are needed immediately.  Any amount you give would be deeply appreciated.
