Ashley and Aaron welcomed Grayson into the world on December 11, 2014, an amazing gift to their family and the light of his grandparents' life (DeVon and Bob Bissel & Jeannie and Dan Berens )! He's a happy, healthy little fellow actively teaching his parents what bringing a new person into this world with joy and support requires.
In early February, Ashley and Aaron got some unexpected and unwelcome news: Ashley's rare Astroblastoma tumor has returned following her successful treatment for a stage III tumor in 2010 and 2011. The tumor is again growing in her brain. She and her family are ready to battle again, securing the best possible care and forming their plan.
They will need love and support to care for sweet Grayson and restore Ashley's health. It's a difficult time and you can help this amazing, loving family with a gift -- small or large--to help defray the costs of childcare, healthcare, meals, transportation and all of the necessities a small bundle of joy requires during a time when the family isn't able to work or provide at the level they want to during Ashley's treatment.
Please reach out with a big hug in the form of your donation and some kind words and spread the word of this fund availability to those whose lives have been touched in so many ways by this fun, compassionate and caring couple and their family.
