On July 24, 2015 heaven gained another angel. Ashley Goodman-Martin, a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and so much more, was taken from us far too soon. Following an unforeseen car accident just 200 feet from her home. Ashley was rushed to the hospital where she spent 4 days fighting for her life. After valiant efforts from some of the best doctors and specialists in the area, the battle proved too much to handle for her weak and withering body.
She was a driven, adventurous, loving, quirky and compassionate young woman with an infectious smile and an unparalleled love for her three little girls. She will be dearly missed and loved by many. It is without question that Ashley Nicole Goodman-Martin left a lasting impression in the minds and hearts of so many of us.
At the young age of 26, Ashley had so much going for her. She was two months shy of receiving her Masters degree and started a new job she was so excited about just a few weeks ago. She had a fire in her like many have never seen. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. Ashley did everything in her power to ensure that her little girls lived the best life they possibly could. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
"I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new. I thought of you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence as I often speak your name.
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part.
God has you in His keeping. I have you in my heart."
