Ashley's Story: I found out in August that I had Stage 2b breast cancer. By the time we found the cancer, it had already spread to one of my lymphnoids. I was in shock because I never thought this would happen to me, especially at 32 years old. I've never been so scared in my life, the fear of the unknown as to what would lie ahead. I had to go through 8 rounds of chemo, one big surgery, and 32 rounds of radiation. The best piece of advice I received during this was to stay positive. The doctors, medicine, and surgery healed my body but keeping a good attitude and positive outlook helped me beat the cancer emotionally. The doctors confirmed last week that I'm offically in remission!!! I just have 1 more big surgery at the end of the year, then I should offically be done. Now I just want to feel pretty again and the last thing still missing is my hair. I've found someone that can do extensions on people after chemo with short hair. The extensions are $2500 and I'll get to keep them forever. I've appreciated everyone's love, support, and prayers throughout my journey. Please keep them coming as they mean so much to me!
