Ashley's Boston Marathon Fundraiser

I am so excited to have been selected to run the 127th Boston Marathon on April 17th, 2023! This will be my first marathon, and I am fortunate to be able to represent my hometown of Hopkinton, MA by running for the Hopkinton Education Foundation.

Hopkinton is the start of the Boston Marathon, and Patriots’ Day is easily the most exciting day of the year in our town. I grew up cheering on the runners every year but never thought I would actually have the opportunity to join those runners one day.

I am proud to be raising money for the Hopkinton Education Foundation, which promotes education and innovation throughout the Hopkinton Public School system in order to advance children’s learning and motivate students to become lifelong learners. As someone who went through the Hopkinton Public School system, the Hopkinton Education Foundation allowed me to be excited about learning. Their work helped encourage me to continue my education further, which has led me to where I am today, working as a physician assistant at NewYork-Presbyterian. I want to be able to continue the important work of the Hopkinton Education Foundation and allow more students to pursue their dreams.

My goal is to raise at least $5,000 to support the Hopkinton Education Foundation. Any donation you can make, no matter how big or small, is appreciated!
