Ashley's Cancer Journey

If you have been following Ashley, you know it has been a gruesome 18 months of one thing after another. It has truly been worse than we could have ever imagined!
She is so strong and we have faith she will be her old self again, but it just isn't happening as quickly as we hoped and wished after she finished her one year of chemo and other treatments.
Ashley has Stage 3c Inflammatory Her 2 Positive Breast Cancer. She has had more procedures and treatments than anyone could image and way too many to list or go into detail about.
As of April and May 2021, she is trying hard to better her liver and kidneys, all of which are failing and she is on the transplant list for both in case they do not get better.
With all of this and then some, you can only image what her medical expenses look like. She is hounded daily by some provider to pay something of what she owes. Even a millionaire would have trouble keeping track of all her bills and they just continue to pile up.
Her chemo over the course of 12 months was about $250,000 out of pocket. It just doesn't seem fair she would have died without the chemo but now she has to pay for it for eternity?
My hope and prayer is that our friends and family can rally behind her and help with some of her worry and stress that the medical expenses cause her. We want her to focus on her health, her future and her family.
We are so appreciative of all that has already been given, gifted and the prayer that are lifted up daily.
God bless you and keep those prayers coming for our Ashley. It means so much to her and all of our family.
