Ashley's Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Fund

Donation protected
Hello all, and thank you for taking the time to read this call for help-
My name is Shelby, and I am creating this GoFundMe for Ashley (40) and her boys, Jayden (15) and Jaxson (12). She has always been a hard-working individual trying to live life to the fullest while raising her boys to the best of her ability.
Life has always had its ups and downs for her, but hell arose in late 2022 and has been a part of her life since. In February, Ashley was told that the cancer her mother had been battling had spread throughout her body, and the doctors had done everything they could. She did what any child would do and spent every second of every day with her mother; ten days later, her mom, Debby, passed away on February 13, 2023. Without asking for help, Ashley paid for the funeral and service. She returned to work while managing through grief until March 10, 2023, when she found her little sister, Chase, deceased. Once again, without hesitation, she depleted her savings to ensure her sister had a service.
Losing her mom and sister in less than 30 days caused Ashley serious heartbreak. Still, she continued to power through her everyday responsibilities, as any single parent would do- until the pain became unbearable; with every heartbeat came pain that took her breath away, tears, frequently leaving work- assuming the pain was part of the grieving process. After weeks of trying to manage the pain on her own, she made an appointment with her physician. After the referral process and many missed days of work for testing, blood work, scans, etc., she was diagnosed (June 2023) with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), the narrowing of one or more coronary arteries- the blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the heart. More than likely (doctor’s words), Ashley was born with this condition, but it did not present itself until the two severe heartbreaks: her mother and sister. Although her doctor wanted this procedure done in an emergency manner, the insurance caused it to be delayed.
On August 1, 2023, Ashley will undergo Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery. She will spend a short period in the hospital and then be released home to make a full recovery within 12-18 weeks. Due to the deaths in the earlier year, and many appointments, she has exhausted all leave.
She will only receive 60% of her check bi-weekly before taking out health insurance and taxes. She has exhausted all savings and does not qualify for any loans due to the upcoming decrease in pay.
The funds donated will be used to pay her rent and household bills.
