Ashley’s recovery from long covid battle

Hi my name is Claire Insch I am Ashley’s mum. In August 2021 we all caught covid and Ashley has been extremely ill ever since after being diagnosed with long covid, chronic fatigue and ptsd He initially experienced fatigue, brain fog and was unable to walk due to dizziness. He struggled to string a sentence together,

he also had to give up college because he was too unwell to continue. He suffers with such severe brain fog and continues to struggle to even get out of bed on the really bad days. We have been trying to seek medical help but are no nearer to getting any answers or help as to why he is still so unwell. We are desperate to get some help from specialist doctors based in Harley street and would use the funds to finance these appointments and medical care which will hopefully enable Ashley to have some sort of life to look forward to as at the moment he really hasn’t and struggles to get through each day. He was always a very active boy spending lots of time riding his bike, playing football, spending time with his siblings before covid hit and destroyed all his dreams.

We want to find a way forward to enable him to make new dreams and have set up this go for me fund as a way to try and make this happen as we have explored every other avenue without any answers or success and we are doing this as a last resort to help get our boy back
