ASHLEY'S NEW MOMMA UPLIFT CAMPAIGN

I'm Derrick Brown, poet, fiction author and former paratrooper. I am honored to get to hang and meet other soldiers, airmen and seamen wherever I go. When I lived In the LBC I got to meet the wonderful Ashley- she is best friends with my ex, JB.

She ventured to Guam and met a rad solid Navy dude named Ian and they fell in mad love and got married, fast! They moved to Spain where he was stationed and adventured their buns off.

Their biggest adventure was yet to come when last week or so they found out that Ash was 3 months preggers. Devastating news came when she woke a few mornings later to find that he had left this earth in his sleep. His funeral ceremony is in his homestate of Alaska this weekend. The grief is too much and I never know what to do when you imagine someone who is strong, but leveled by losing someone. JB and I want to do something and we need your help. JB is going to be there for Ash as much as she can during this pregnancy and as she sorts out where to live and begin her life with her kid.

She is a healthy genius and we want to do three things for her. Platejoy meal planning for a year (64.00) and groceries for the rest of the year (1000.00) to take her mind off of meal planning.
A giftcard for baby gear to baby earth (250.00)
and she loves to read new books and check out audiobooks so a gift card to amazon or powells (100.00)

This would mean the world to JB and I to help out our hurting friend... and especially Ashley and her newest incoming family member.  Thank you for reading and sharing.
