Ashli Ford's Truth Fund

I am a local advocate for victims of sexual assault. I am also an Investigative Journalist. Recently, I have exposed a number of public officials and police officers for egregious acts of misconduct. In the last 60 days I have brought two forgotten about child rape cases back into the justice system. It appears that the the Norwalk Officials and Police Department are going blow for blow with me. In exchange for those two rapists being brought back for justice, I was served with 2 criminal charges and a civil lawsuit. Both of them were fraudulently file and lack probable cause, jurisdiction, and TRUTH!

The charges are a shoddy attempt at First Ammendment Retaliation! They will be dismissed and I will continue my work.

While the charges are bogus, they are becoming expensive to fight. 10 months ago I accepted a request to help with the Amanda Dean Investigation. My life has been a whirlwind ever since. I have remained steadfast in my convictions every single step of the way. I have not and will not falter.

I've been asked numerous times to start a go fund me. I always refuse. I've dedicated my life to raising money for charity. I know how badly some of these amazing programs need money to help people. I couldn't justify asking for anything. Not for nothing, I grew up really poor. I've supported myself since the day before my 16th birthday. I'm really proud of that. I work incredibly hard and have built incredible things from nothing. Maybe this is a lesson in humility.

I've done all over this at great cost to myself. I've gained nothing tangible but I have gained more than you could ever imagine. I found out who I am and what I am meant for. I found out that, sometimes, things like ADHD come in handy. I've found out how much the quiet work I have done, for nearly 20 years, has mattered to people. I have seen more offenders to justice though my work than I can count on both of my hands. That doesn't seem like a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. I don't operate in grand schemes. I operate in grace, accountability, compassion, compromise, and understanding. That is where the solutions lie. It mattered to every survivor of those crimes. It will matter to their families. It will matter to their children and the generational curses that are handed down. It has affected countless people. I am so damn proud of that! My steps have been ordered and I will continue to walk in faith. I'm just going to adjust and do it with a little more humility I suppose. Tough lesson for someone who struggles to depend on anyone other than herself. A tribute to a personal generational curse that I struggle to break.

"Ashli. You have legal fees. It’s not charity. You are doing a job nobody wants. People who are passionate about finding the truth would like to support you. Please set one up. It is a platform for people to support causes they believe in."

They were right. It is my platform but it isn't just my cause. Support it and me as you see fit.
