Ashliegh Drake's Family

Donation protected
Yesterday, October 27, 2022, Ashliegh and her family lost their home and everything inside due to a horrific house fire. Ashliegh was making lunch for her and her mother after they had spent all morning finishing the final touches for her wedding on the following Sunday, October 30th. The house had unknown electrical problems, which caused a shortage of the stove, causing the grease inside of the pot to get too hot too quickly and catch fire to the stove, which then quickly spread to the rest of the kitchen in a matter of seconds. The rest of the house was up in flames in a matter of minutes. Everything happened quickly; the only thing Ashliegh could grab was her purse. Thankfully the dog followed her out, but the three cats got scared and hid from her. She could not rescue them before she had to get out of the house. The fire was so hot and so large that the front end of her car was burned and melted.

Thankfully no one was physically hurt. Regarding everything else, Ashleieh, her fiance(who was at work), and their 14-year-old son(who was at school) only have the clothes they had on that day. Red Cross was able to help them with a hotel room for two days. So by 11:00 am tomorrow (Saturday), they have to figure out where they will go.

Any funds sent to this family will be more than appreciated. It could get them a few more nights at a hotel to be able to figure out a game plan. The money could help buy new clothes and essential items like underwear, toothbrushes, soap and shampoo, and food since they no longer have a kitchen to prepare meals. They are also left without a vehicle, and the funds could even help with transportation back and forth to school and work.
