Hello,
My names Skyla Holmes and i'm creating this gofundme to help with cremation and other memorial based costs for my mother. I had just turned 21 and my mother , Ashly Holmes, passed away on September 9th at 41 years young. Her cause of death is still unknown but it was sudden and extremely unexpected. She didn't have a will, a savings or a life insurance policy.
I'm not usually one to ask for help but after finding out that I lost my mother and just starting to get on my feet again I don't have the funds to pay for everything. I was left a house I cant afford with bills that are way to high so between keeping a roof over my head I unfortunately cant pay the extremely high cost for her cremation and other expenses that come with her sudden passing.
I am so very thankful for anyone who is reading this right now and trying their best to help out. For anyone reading this who knows my mother personally you know that she left two daughters behind. My younger sister who just turned 16 as well as myself. She was one of those people that did everything in her power to make sure if they needed help, a friend or a shoulder to cry on she was right there. She worked in the foster care system as well as a behavioral tech as a local hospital here in Florida. She was smart , witty, loving, caring, adventurous, a social butterfly and diffidently one of a kind. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. I know her death affected so many people and I'm not the only one in pain right now.
Anything at all would help, I feel so overwhelmed with everything going on. I never once in my life thought I'd have the cops at my door telling me my mother was dead at the age of 21. I know life has its reasons behind why things happen but sometimes its to complicated to grasp. I loved her so much and i know if you met her at any point in your life then you fell in love with her personality as well.
