Join Ashlee, Kobe and family and friends as they Walk to raise money for a cure for MND on Sunday 4th June 2023 at 11am

Meeting at the international Flag Display, Queen Elizabeth Terrace, Parkes, Canberra; walking around Lake Burley Griffin and finishing on the lawns of Parliament House.

This is my twin brother Ashlee, he was diagnosed in February last year with Motor Neuron Disease which is a terminal condition.

Ashlee has always lived an extremely active life, he has always pushed himself hard to overcome obstacles to become a champion boxer winning many trophies and titles.

Despite challenges that might have stopped someone with less determination Ashlee held a full time job in the public service for 10 years where he was surrounded by amazing work colleagues, people that over time became his dear friends and to this day his family.

Ashlee's passion has always been meeting up with his friends and sharing good times with them, his other two big loves in life are the Roosters Football club and his beloved German Shepard called Gypsy.

Unfortunately this horrific disease is taking everything away from him, first his voice, then his mobility and eventually it will take his life.

Motor neuron disease is one of the worst diagnoses that a person can get, Ashlee does not have many options left in his life now but what he is now very passionate about is helping in his own small way, to find a cure so that one day this terrible disease will not continue to take lives in the horrible way that it is taking his.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch your loved one go through something like this but Ashlee is first and foremost a fighter, he always has been and I know that he will fight this to the very last breath that he takes.

It would give my brother so much happiness and satisfaction to be able to run a successful fundraising campaign, please be one of Ash's Angels and help Ashlee raise money to find a cure for motor neurone disease.
