Hi, My name is Tarah, and I am the mother of Ashton and Ryker. Ashton is 3 years old, and his younger brother is 2 years old. On August 17th Ashton was taken to Monroe ER for an upset stomach. We discovered that he had something called Intussusception; the doctors had found a mass in his intestines and sent it off for testing. I got a call from his surgeon, who told me he had tested positive for burkkit lymphoma, cancer that develops in the lymph nodes and spreads to other organs. Ashton has Stage 2 Burkitt Lymphoma. Since all this has happened to us, I have had to stop working to be with my son full-time at home and in the hospital. All donations would help us pay for significant house expenses during this difficult time.
