Ashtons Cancer treatments

Hi my name is Christina Baughman. My son Ashton Baughman at the age of 18 was diagnosed on January the 15 2024 with Anaplastic large cell lymphoma which is a rare form of Non Hodgkins cancer. This news alone has been devastating as you can understand. The treatment and the back and forth trips to Children's Hospital in Birmingham which is 4hr drive has been a hard expense to endure as well as his initial treatment cost as he has no insurance at this time. Because we live in Dothan we have to plan on going to Birmingham ever Tuesday and every 3rd Tuesday he is admitted in for a 7day treatment. With him being halfway through his treatments his ANC numbers are dropping lower then normal which make it hard for him to rebound from the chemo. There is and booster shot that can be given but it's a $1000 per shot and we would have to pay before he could get it. Other than that he will needed to start running a fever, sick and be taken back to Birmingham to be re admitted into the hospital. With that being said we could use help we can get. We are not normally ones to ask for outside help but this has come to us in such a shock that we are willing to ask for help. Thanks and god bless
