Asia Hargis-Jones

My 27-year-old daughter, Asia Hargis-Jones, was diagnosed with Adult Medulloblastoma Grade 4 at the end of July.

This is an extremely aggressive cancer and there is a chance it can spread to her spine.

She had brain surgery and they were able to get 90% of the tumor. Unfortunately, she developed severe side effects from surgery. Cerebeller Mutism Syndrome and tremors. She has a hard time speaking and doing things like feeding herself, etc. She has been in rehab for a few weeks but needs to leave so she can start treatment for her cancer.

She will be getting radiation to her brain and spine, as well as chemo. Treatment will last until May at the earliest.

She requires full-time care that myself and my husband are providing. She will be staying with us during her treatments. She will need medical items at home, such as a hospital bed, wheelchair, ramp for the front door, shower chair, etc.

These expenses, as well as hospital bills and her regular bills, are why I decided to put together this go fund me page.

Asia is a wonderful young woman, and we are so proud of how hard she is working to get through this. She’s a fabulous artist and hopes that one day she can paint again.

Her boyfriend Kevin and their dog Archie are missing her and can’t wait until she’s well enough to come home to them.
