Asking for Help After Death of Beloved Partner

Virgil and I met 11 years ago working together in a local Arizona mall, where we quickly fell in love and began living together. For these past 11 years we made wonderful memories together. However, three weeks ago, Virgil began to get sick. He started with a fever, which quickly turned into labored breathing. I took him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Although I and his family had great hopes that he would get better, he quickly worsened, where his organs began to fail. On June 14, the doctor contacted me to let me know Virgil had been put on life support. Along with his family, we made a joint decision to disconnect him to let him pass on. This was one of the hardest decisions of my life, since I let go of a lifelong partner. Before Virgil passes however, we were barely living paycheck to paycheck, where each month we would worry about our car and apartment payment. We made ends meet, but it took the both of us to be successful. Now that I don’t have him in my life, I only have my minimum wage income to pay for bills amounting to about $2000 a month. I work 40 hours a week and am an essential worker, but it’s going to become very difficult to make ends meet this upcoming month. Along with some savings we had together, this fundraiser would be used to cover the costs of the next three months, until our lease expires and I can move into a smaller apartment unit.
