Asmara Orphanage

Thank y’all for joining us to celebrate a much-needed reunion and support our fundraising efforts for the Asmara orphanage. The organization provides crucial care + support services for children in Asmara and the surrounding area. We’ll be directing all charitable donations toward the purchase of food, clothes, educational items and other essentials.

Many of these children have lost their parents due to war and poverty. As such, they face struggles that we were blessed to never experience. If it were not for our parents' fateful decision to come to the states and seek a better life, things could have just as easily been against our favor.

We take our lives for granted here, while these children go days without access to basic necessities. Let’s work together as the Eritrean Diaspora to raise all we can and supplement the resources this orphanage needs to provide vital care and support for Eritrean children. Yafiet will be going to Eritrea in July and will be directly delivering the money to them.
