Aspen U14AA - USA Hockey Nationals

The Aspen Leafs Girls U14AA team made history on March 19 by winning the Rocky Mountain District Championships in a 5-2 win over the Rocky Mountain Lady Rough Riders. The win at Districts earned the team the honor to represent the Rocky Mountain District, Colorado and Aspen at the USA Hockey Nationals in Troy Michigan April 6-10 – a feat not accomplished by an Aspen team in more than 20 years!
That said, after already having traveled to Phoenix for the District Tournament during pricey spring training time, the trip to Detroit will pose a financial challenge to a number of our players. We are therefore calling on our Aspen Junior Hockey community and Aspen community in general as well as friends and family to help our players go to Detroit. No amount is too small or too large! We thank you for your support of our team from the bottom of our hearts.
