Assaulted Single Female, Unarmed.

I am a single Mother. I am fortunate to have health insurance, but I have been on bedrest for two weeks. I was assaulted in a locacation in North Carolina. I am not comfortable giving out the details of the specific locacation due to privacy/safety concerns.
Again, I am very fortunate to be alive, and I know it could be much worse. But I am a 95 pound single Mother with a cracked rib, scraped back/limbs, broken nose, multiple head lacerations, and a long recovery emotionally and physically. 
Care and compassion is greatly appreciated.
Please, any Human - be aware of your surroundings. This could happen to anyone, anywhere at anytime.
I am very thankful to have family and friends, but I am very scared for myself and others. I am not one to ask for help, but I am absolutely horrified, not just for myself or my son, but for any Human. It's a very scary time for everyone. The world is a very scary place.

I am very thankful to have a Mom who talks to me constantly, not everyone has that gift. I am thankful that, though broken, I have my son and I will be able to get on my feet.
