Assist Charles Alexander with Lulu's Medical Costs

My name is Charles Alexander. My wife, family, and I have had the honor and privilege to have Lulu in our lives for almost 15 years. My wife and I are in our late 70s and have sadly been through losing a beloved pet a few times in our lives. I think losing Lulu has been especially hard on us, maybe because of our age and also so many things we've been through with her for almost 15 years.

I drove an 18-wheeler for a few years, and Daisy (who has passed on) and Lulu rode with us in the sleeper across a lot of the United States. Driving out west, there were very few places where there was grass for them to go potty, and then in the wintertime, we had to take them out of the warm truck to go out in the snow and potty.

All of our dogs have been on the Banfield maintenance program their entire lives. Starting at about age 7, Lulu was found to have a heart murmur, so she was put on heart medicine (Vetmedin) and blood pressure medicine (Enalapril). Lulu was also taking pain medicine (Rimadyl).
