Help Corrine With Her Last Wishes

Hi. My name is Corrine Paige and on April 15, 2024 I was diagnosed with terminal Ovarian Cancer. But first, a little about me. I love being with family and friends. I have loved all of my furbabys (cats for those who are unfamiliar with the term). The ocean is a refuge and solace, especially when I need it the most. I enjoy watching movies, reading, listening to music and flying in an airplane. Because I love to learn, especially about ancient history and other cultures, I enjoy traveling. When in college and seminary I was fortunate to go to Asia, Europe and Mexico to teach conversational English as well as provide care for medical care for the sick and dying, assist mothers in creating their own jobs and then teach their children. These experiences laid the foundation for my chosen professional path, spending the majority of my career living with adults having developmental disabilities as well as those having chronic and severe mental health diagnosis. It wasn't a job but a passion, and I would be there still if circumstances were different. As an Orthodox Christian, my faith gives me hope and peace in my current situation and for my future. Since 2020, I helped my family in physically caring of our father who was dying of Congestive Heart Failure. He lost his battle in January of 2024 and four months later I was diagnosed with terminal Ovarian Cancer. Currently I am in Hospice. For women, this is the 5th leading cause of death and is known as the "silent killer," because it typically isn't found until stage 3 or 4. It is the number one gynecological cancer for women and there is a poor prognosis. My expected prognosis is 6-9 months, as of this past April. Due to the cancer, I am unable to work and drive, and the savings I had went to care for my father. I am blessed that my church family is able to help with some of the expenses toward the funeral and burial costs. What I am asking donations for is to help pre-pay for opening the grave and then the internal vault, which is approximately $750.00, the internal vault which is also $750.00 and the grave marker, which can be between $1000-$2000. I gave an explanation as to this change in update below. These need to be paid prior to my passing and so I am asking for your help in making this last wish come true. I can't, for obvious reasons, give a date for my passing but Ovarian Caner is aggressive and moves quickly at the last stage, which is why I need to have my final arrangements taken care of ASAP. Any donation, no matter what amount, will be greatly appreciated from me to you. Thank you for reading and giving me your time.
